SUNY Undergraduate Research Conference (SURC)
The SUNY Undergraduate Research Conference (SURC) is a multidisciplinary spring semester event. SURC brings together undergraduate students and faculty mentors from across the SUNY system for a full day of activities, including sessions devoted to student presentations (oral and poster), luncheon, keynote speakers, a SUNY Graduate/Transfer School and Career Fair, and professional development workshops for students and faculty. SURC is supported by the Offices of the Chancellor, Provost, and Center for Professional Development, as well as University Faculty Senate and SUNY Faculty Council of Community Colleges.
The 2027 SURC Conference will be hosted at:

Saturday, April 10, 2027
Participation at both sites is on a first-come, first-served basis and space is limited.
Abstract submission portal will open on Monday, November 2, 2026 at 10:00am. Additional information regarding abstract submissions requirements, presentation guidelines, and transfer/graduate/career fair tables will be available on this website as details become available.
Registration to attend SURC will be open in February 2027. Presenters and faculty/staff mentors will be notified of their presentation status and a registration link will be emailed in February. There will be very limited space for guests to attend SURC; if there are remaining spots available guest registration will open at a later date.
Registration for tabling at the transfer/graduate/career fair will open in February 2027.
