The purpose of these meetings is to bring together and support the professional development of those who are involved with teaching and learning and faculty/staff/educational development efforts throughout the system. The meetings will be highly interactive with participants leaving with concrete and practical ideas they can implement on their campus right away. The primary goal is to bring together educational and faculty development professionals to share ideas about programs, services, outreach, and impact to collaborate to address common concerns.
Goals:

Create regional networks of colleagues who are involved in faculty development or teaching and learning projects (such as the SUNY Innovative Instruction Technology Grant program, SUNY Online, FACT2, etc.) and identify ways to sustain these networks to improve teaching and learning across SUNY

Create awareness of, celebrate, and disseminate research-based faculty and educational development best practices on SUNY campuses

Identify strategies to leverage the many excellent faculty and educational development opportunities and efforts both system-wide and on SUNY campuses to better meet their campus teaching and learning needs
Who should attend:
Faculty developers, faculty or staff from centers for teaching and learning, teaching, learning, and technology centers, and/or librarians, instructional designers, or other staff who are involved with supporting faculty in their instructional development.
