SUNY Undergraduate Research Conference (SURC) 2025

The 12th (Twelfth) annual SURC Conference will be hosted at:

Binghamton University – Monday, April 28, 2025

Please note:  We received an extraordinary number of abstracts for SURC 2025 at Binghamton, and need to limit attendance to students (and their mentors) who submitted an abstract.

First authors of those abstracts and their mentors will receive an email the week of March 24 with information about whether their projects have been accepted for the conference.  That email will include a link for registration for those people to use.  We’re not accepting any additional registrations while we work through that process.

If you are interested in attending SURC, but did not submit an abstract, please monitor this page.  *IF* we are able to accept additional registrations it will be announced here, and those spots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The SUNY Undergraduate Research Conference (SURC) is a multidisciplinary spring semester event. SURC brings together undergraduate students and faculty mentors from across the SUNY system for a full day of activities, including sessions devoted to student presentations (oral, performance, artistic displays, and poster), luncheon, keynote speakers, a SUNY Graduate School and Career Fair, and professional development workshops for students and faculty. SURC is supported by the Offices of the Chancellor, Provost, and Research Foundation, as well as SUNY student and faculty governance organizations.  All undergraduate students engaged in research and creative activities and their mentors across SUNY are invited to attend.
