SUNY Business Intelligence Introductory Analysis Training for Finance and Other Professionals – Self-Paced Workshop Available

  This 3 month self-paced/asynchronous workshop is for those interested in using the SUNY BI interface to access finance data enabling them to create and share reports using the SUNY BI platform. Upon completion of this coursework, participants will be able to create custom data extracts from data from the SUNY Finance data. Participants will learn how to create data queries and to share the results of those queries with others through the virtual instructions, videos and exercises provided through the Brightspace platform. The coursework will include information on the SUNY System Administration Finance Data Warehouse, but the skills learned will be transferable to other SUNY BI data sets. Please note that this workshop is for State Operated campuses only. 

Completion of this introductory coursework is strongly advised prior to creating custom queries in the SUNY System Administration Data Warehouse. 

Enrollment for this course will completed on a monthly basis on the first Monday of each month starting on Monday, May 6, 2024. Those that register after 5/6/2024 will be enrolled in the class on Monday, June 3, 2024 and on the first Monday of each month going forward.
