Rubrik and Microsoft have formed a strategic partnership to provide comprehensive data protection and security solutions for various environments, including on-premises, cloud, and hybrid setups.

• Rubrik Data Protection for Microsoft 365 Backup Storage: Rubrik offers a robust data protection solution for Microsoft 365, which includes backup and recovery for OneDrive, SharePoint, and Exchange Online data. This solution ensures that critical Microsoft 365 data is secure, easily discoverable, and always accessible in case of a malicious attack, ransomware attack, accidental deletion, or corruption.
• Zero Trust Data Security: Rubrik takes a Zero Trust approach to data management, which follows the NIST principles of Zero Trust for everyone interacting with data. This means operating with the assumption that no person, application, or device is trustworthy. Data must be natively immutable so that it’s not modified, encrypted, or deleted by ransomware.
• Integration with Microsoft Azure: Rubrik’s solutions are designed to integrate seamlessly with Azure, providing native protection for Azure VMs, Azure SQL, and Azure Files. This integration allows for ultra-low RPOs and RTOs using Azure-native snapshots and cost-effective backup to Azure Blob tiers.
