Welcome to the SUNY Center for Professional Development!

At our facility we can easily accommodate your computer training or professional development needs, conferences and meetings, or video conferencing needs. Our facility features:

  • Three meeting/training spaces:
    • video conferencing facility/meeting space with seating for up to 45*
    • a 20-seat computer training lab
    • conference/meeting space with seating for up to 12
  • High-speed wireless Internet access throughout
  • Convenient location - off the NYS Thruway at Exit 35 (Carrier Circle)
  • Ample, Free Parking
  • Hotels and Restaurants nearby
  • Guest lounge for catered food service during your event

Also available for our use within the building:

  • 80-Seat Auditorium
  • 16-seat Conference/Meeting Room

Usage Guidelines:

  • Contact the CPD at least two weeks prior to your function to reserve your space.
  • Available during normal business hours on a first-come, first-serve basis. After hours requests will be considered.
  • All catering must be arranged through the CPD.

Administrative Services Fees and Catering:

An Administrative Services Fee will be charged to all customers to cover administrative services, coffee/tea service, water, and signage. The following fees will apply:
  • No Catering Order: $75
  • Catering Orders Up To $375: $75
  • Catering Orders Over $375: 20% of the total catering order

Cancellation Policy

The SUNY Center for Professional Development requires 24 hours notice in writing or phone, excluding Saturday & Sunday. If your event needs to be cancelled, please call the SUNY CPD and speak with an individual directly. If you cancel via email, please be sure that you receive an acknowledgement of your cancellation. Once we receive your notice, we will promptly cancel any orders; however, please be aware that cancellation policies differ between vendors and you would be responsible for any fees that the CPD incurs as a result of your cancellation.
